This Kindle Colorsoft Deal Won't Last: 44% Off Before Big Deal Days

If you've been waiting for the right moment to upgrade your e-reader, this might be it. Amazon just dropped the Kindle Colorsoft to $199.99, down from its usual $359.99. That's a $160 savings—44% off—and the lowest price we've seen since it launched. For over a year, the Colorsoft has hovered around $329, with only brief dips. So seeing it under $200 is a big deal. This limited-time offer is likely tied to the upcoming Big Deal Days, but why wait? The savings could go straight toward your next batch of books. ### A Display That Makes You Look Twice The 7-inch color screen is the star here. It brings book covers and illustrations to life with paper-like color that's easy on the eyes, even in bright sunlight. No glare, just vivid hues that make highlighting in yellow, orange, blue, pink, or green a joy. Graphic novels and travel guides finally get the depth they deserve, showing artwork as the creators intended. ### Read Anywhere, Anytime Adjustable brightness and warmth let you switch from crisp white to cozy amber, so you're comfortable reading in a sunny garden or a dark bedroom. And with up to 8 weeks of battery life (based on 30 minutes of reading per day with wireless off), you can leave the charger at home. Plus, it's waterproof with an IPX8 rating—tested to survive 60 minutes in 6.5 feet of fresh water. So a splash by the pool or a soak in the tub won't interrupt your chapter. ### Room for Thousands of Books With 16GB of storage, you can carry thousands of titles, and the Kindle Store offers millions more. At just 7.6 ounces, it's lighter than a paperback but holds an entire library. > "This is the e-reader I've been waiting for—color makes all the difference for comics and cookbooks." — Early reviewer If you've been on the fence about color e-readers, this deal makes it an easy call. You get a premium device at a mid-range price, and the savings can go toward building your digital library. Don't wait too long—deals like this don't stick around.
