Ongeveer een jaar geleden heb ik gezocht naar een (goedkope) notaris. Onder andere via bovenstaande website. Daarvoor heb ik een e-mailadres aangemaakt, dat ik uitsluitend heb gebruikt voor communicatie met dat bedrijf. (Met een eigen domeinnaam kun je dat makkelijk doen.)
Omdat ik me niet specifiek heb uitgeschreven voor de mailing, krijg ik nu een jaar later op datzelfde e-mailadres een mailtje over zorgverzekeringen, van een andere vergelijkingssite van hetzelfde bedrijf.
In een telefonische reactie liet het bedrijf weten dat dit mag, omdat ik al als klant sta ingeschreven. Dat mag juridisch helemaal kloppen, gevoelsmatig blijft het raar voor mij.
Conclusie: gebruik de website gerust, maar schrijf je wel uit voor de mailing, als je niet (een jaar) later nog berichten van ze wilt ontvangen, over hele andere zaken.
